Playground Surfaces in Markham: Safety & Fall-Height Performance Review
A standards-based review of impact attenuation, surfacing options, climate factors and costs for playgrounds, daycare play yards and backyard play areas in Markham.
This report reviews the published safety basis for playground surfacing and applies it to Markham, drawing on the CPSC Public Playground Safety Handbook, ASTM F1292 and CSA Z614:20 together with Markham-specific inputs.
